Feeding Orphans in El Salvador (Under the radar orphanage donation)

7,500+ Meals Served So Far - Here's the Story

Some realities in this world are hard to process. For me, one of the most painful is knowing there are children who not only grow up without a family but also without food.

On my recent trip to El Salvador, I had the opportunity to do something about it. While the original plan was to surf, explore, and enjoy the culture, God opened the door for something bigger. I connected with Casa De Amor, a small but powerful children’s home, and we were able to donate over 1.5 months’ worth of food, groceries, and cleaning supplies to the kids there.

This was not a photo opportunity or a brand campaign. It was simply a calling and part of my broader mission to provide 1,000,000 meals for orphans worldwide.

Why El Salvador

Living in Miami, El Salvador is only a short two and a half hour flight away. The country is often misunderstood, known for violence in the past, though today it feels welcoming and vibrant.

I decided to make the trip after finding affordable flights, but once I was booked, I prayed: Lord, if You want me to find an orphanage here and extend the mission, You will make it happen.

Within days, He did.

I stumbled upon the Casa De Amor website. Simple, humble, with just an email address buried at the bottom. I reached out, explaining my mission to feed orphans, and soon connected with Kathy in North Carolina who volunteers with the home. She had seen my previous donation video in Cape Town, South Africa, and quickly introduced me to Roxana, the on-the-ground manager of Casa De Amor.

Inside Casa De Amor

Casa De Amor translates to House of Love, and that is exactly what it is. Roxana has been faithfully serving children there for more than 12 years. Alongside her small team, she provides food, shelter, education, and something even more powerful: family.

The home currently houses around 15 children in a modest rental property. Each room doubles as both living and study space. Roxana explained how they make every effort to create the feeling of a normal household, a place where children can feel safe, supported, and loved.

Some of the kids have been there for five years or more. Some were adopted. Some came directly off the streets. Every child carries a story, and every day requires faith and dedication to meet their needs.

The Donation

Rather than wiring money, I wanted to be there in person. I wanted to look the team in the eyes, shop alongside them, and load the car with food the children would actually eat.

Together with Roxana, we walked through a local supermarket filling carts with rice, beans, milk, cereal, hot dogs, soup, and more. The essentials were stacked high, enough to cover more than a month of groceries and cleaning supplies.

At checkout, the back of the car was overflowing. It barely fit. And that moment, standing in the parking lot with Roxana, knowing what this food represented, made every second of travel and every dollar spent worth it.

The Bigger Mission: 1,000,000 Meals for Orphans

This trip was not a one-off. It is part of the 1,000,000 Meals for Orphans Mission I announced in 2024 (and started in 2025).

By God’s grace, and with the support of friends, family, and my business, I have already delivered more than 7,500+ meals in Africa and El Salvador (click here to view both videos) as of October 3rd, 2025. My goal is to continue visiting orphanages around the world, documenting the impact, and inspiring others to take action in their own communities.

Later, in October 2025, I will be traveling to Bali, Indonesia to continue this mission with another orphanage and another donation. If you want to stay updated with all future contributions, join Alex's free email newsletter by clicking here.

How You Can Get Involved

Every share, comment, and prayer helps expand the reach of this mission.

About Alex Evans, Founder of Raging Agency

Outside of this mission, I am the Founder and CEO of Raging Agency, a Miami-based digital marketing firm specializing in scaling wellness and longevity brands. I have been in digital marketing for nearly a decade, leading teams of 45, overseeing campaigns for 11 physical locations, and managing six figures in monthly ad spend.

Through Raging Agency, we partner with med spas, fitness studios, hormone clinics, wellness technology brands, and aesthetic practices, helping them grow with high-converting ad campaigns and full-funnel systems.

But beyond business, my personal calling is simple: to feed orphans and inspire intentional living. This mission is not tied to Raging Agency’s clients; it is simply a reflection of the values we live by.

Final Thoughts

El Salvador gave me more than waves to surf and waterfalls to hike. It gave me perspective. It reminded me that while many of us wake up to fruit, coffee, and comfort, there are kids waking up with nothing.

And if we have the ability to change that, even for a moment, then we should.
