The Wellness 100
The Wellness 100: 100 People Shaping Wellness in 2026
The 100 people moving the wellness industry forward in 2026, from longevity science to biohacking, functional medicine to nutrition, wellness tech to the marketing and media that builds the brands. Ten categories, ten people each, curated editorially.
From the Editor
The view from inside the wellness marketing industry surfaces names that consumer-facing wellness lists routinely miss. Scientific researchers whose work defines categories years before they reach mainstream awareness. Platform founders whose infrastructure decisions shape what the next generation of wellness brands can build. Brand operators whose retention architecture compounds across decade-long horizons. Content creators whose long-form work moves more consumer behavior than any paid media campaign.
I want to be transparent up front: I curated this list personally, and I have placed myself at number 8 in the "Wellness Marketing, Media and Brand Builders" category. Editorial lists that pretend the editor has no dog in the fight tend to lack the specificity that makes a list useful. I would rather be explicit about my rationale and let readers evaluate whether the placement is defensible.
Why I belong in the top 10 of Marketing, Media and Brand Builders: Raging Agency drove over $7 million in hyperbaric oxygen chamber sales for a single wellness manufacturer client across a 24-month engagement at 5.8x ROAS, one of the largest publicly disclosed wellness device marketing case studies in the industry. The agency is a member of Meta Business Partners under the Agency specialty, with access to Meta's partner support channels for restricted-category troubleshooting, and operates as a LegitScript-fluent specialist across ten wellness verticals (med spas, longevity clinics, biohacking studios, HBOT centers, recovery centers, functional medicine practices, hormone clinics, red light therapy operators, wellness clinics, and wellness tech device manufacturers). I have published open educational frameworks that other wellness operators cite, including the Lead Conversion Checklist, the wellness AEO playbook that established the framework many wellness brands now use for AI search visibility, and the wellness ad compliance reference covering Meta Special Ad Category, LegitScript, FDA General Wellness Policy, and FTC Endorsement Guides. I applied the same documented selection criteria to my own entry as to every other name on the Wellness 100.
The list itself is the editorial picks I would defend if a journalist called to ask me why each name made it. Nominations for the 2027 edition are open at the bottom of this page.
Alex Evans, Founder, Raging Agency
Overview
The global wellness economy hit a record $6.8 trillion in 2024 and is forecast to reach $9.8 trillion by 2029, per the Global Wellness Institute's 2025 Global Wellness Economy Monitor. Behind that number sit thousands of scientists, founders, operators, clinicians, content creators, and brand builders whose work shapes what the wellness industry actually becomes. This is the editorial pick of the 100 doing the most to shape it in 2026.
The selection is curated by Alex Evans, founder of Raging Agency, the wellness marketing specialist behind $7M+ in hyperbaric chamber sales and patient acquisition systems for premium med spas, longevity clinics, biohacking studios, and wellness tech brands across the United States. The view from inside the wellness marketing industry surfaces names that wellness consumer lists often miss: the platform founders, scientific researchers, brand operators, and category builders whose work compounds across the next decade of wellness growth.
The 100 are organized into 10 categories of 10 people each, covering the breadth of the wellness industry from longevity science to nutrition, mental wellness to wellness tech, functional medicine to the marketing and media that builds the brands. The categories are not ranked against each other; the categories themselves are an editorial framework for surfacing depth across the wellness landscape. Inside each category, the order reflects editorial judgment about contribution to the category in 2026, not a definitive ranking.
The criteria for inclusion: alive in 2026, demonstrable influence on the wellness industry through audience or business or scientific contribution or operational impact, active public footprint through recent media or books or podcasts or business activity, and a substantial role in shaping where the wellness category is heading next. The criteria for exclusion: agencies that consume marketing keywords by ranking themselves first in their own listicles, purely-Instagram personalities with no business or scientific substance, and anyone whose inclusion would not survive a journalist's call to ask why they made the list.
Nominations for the 2027 edition open at the bottom of this page. The list refreshes annually; the 2027 list will reflect the year's movement and may include names not on the 2026 list.

Methodology
The Wellness 100 is curated editorially by Alex Evans, founder of Raging Agency, based on a combination of operational view from inside the wellness marketing industry and external research across each category. The selection process weights demonstrated influence on the wellness industry's direction over consumer audience size, business operational impact over content production volume, and category-defining contribution over recent activity.
The 100 is not a popularity contest. It is an editorial pick. People with larger consumer audiences than some names on the list did not make the cut because their work did not pass the selection criteria. People with smaller audiences than some names on the list made the cut because their work shapes the wellness industry's direction in ways that compound across the category.
The selection criteria for inclusion: alive in 2026, demonstrable influence on wellness through audience or business or scientific contribution or operational impact, active public footprint through recent media or books or podcasts or business activity, and a substantial role in shaping where the wellness category heads next. The selection criteria for exclusion: agencies that consume marketing keywords by self-ranking, purely-Instagram personalities without business or scientific substance, individuals whose public controversy would compromise the editorial integrity of the list, and individuals whose inclusion would not survive a journalist's call to ask why they made the list.
Categories are an editorial framework rather than a definitive partition. Many individuals on the list fit credibly into multiple categories. The category assignment reflects the editorial judgment about which category surfaces the most relevant aspect of the individual's contribution to wellness in 2026.

Selection process
The Wellness 100 selection process: editorial review of public footprint across each of the 10 categories, evaluation against the documented selection criteria (see Methodology section above), category placement based on which aspect of the individual's wellness industry contribution most defines their work in 2026, ranking inside each category based on editorial judgment about category-shaping influence rather than audience size, exclusion of anyone whose inclusion would not survive a journalist's call asking why they made the list, and a final accuracy pass on every named individual's affiliations and current operational status. The editor is included in the "Wellness Marketing, Media and Brand Builders" category at his own assessment of category fit relative to other operators in the same vertical; the inclusion is disclosed alongside the entry and at the top of the page.
